Collect Your Travel Documents
Visitors entering from outside the United States must present a valid passport and, in certain cases, a visa. Before entering the US, all visitors are responsible for ensuring that they have the required documents necessary, whether they are travelling through to another country or returning to their country of origin. Meeting Attire
There is no dress code for this meeting. Many attendees prefer business casual. A jacket and/or sweater is recommended for the meeting rooms and for the evenings.

Expect daytime highs of 28°C - 31°C (82°F - 87°F) and lows of 14°C - 17°C (58°F - 63°F).

Power Adapters and Plugs
The standard voltage in the United States is 110-120 V (with a standard frequency of 60 Hz) rather than the 220 volts used in Europe. European plugs are not compatible with US electrical sockets.

At The Meeting



Registration will be set in the Exhibit Hall E Lobby. When you arrive at the registration desk, you will enter your name into a touch screen monitor to view and print your badge. Once you have printed your badge, you will receive your meeting materials.

    Fully-registered attendees and registered guests are invited to the Opening Welcome Reception on Sunday, 28 July from 18:30 - 20:30 in the Exhibit Hall E. Our exhibitors will be on-hand to meet you and share information about their latest products and services. Attendee posters will also be up for a sneak peak before the poster presentations begin on Monday.


  • New Investigator Session
    Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and investigators in the early stages of their careers will want to attend this breakfast session on Monday, 29 July from 07:30 - 08:45 in room E141. The session begins with refreshments, followed by lively round table discussions. Attendees within their first ten years of receiving their highest degree are welcome.   • Networking Happy Hour at Spirit of 77 - Sponsored by Frontage
    Join fellow attendees for arcade games, upscale bar fare, craft beers and cocktails from 18:30 - 19:30. All attendees and registered guests are invited to attend. This local bar is steps away from the Oregon Convention Center - about a one-minute walk.
